Top 3 Ibiza Yacht Charters for Couples
Introduction
Ibiza works exceptionally well for couples because the island can be as relaxed or as lively as you want.
One day might mean a quiet anchorage and lunch onboard, while the next could include Formentera, sunset drinks and an evening ashore. The right yacht gives couples privacy, comfort and enough onboard variety to enjoy both sides of the Balearics.
These three yachts stand out for very different types of couples charter.
YCM 120
Best for: The ultimate luxury couples charter
YCM 120 is the strongest overall option for couples who want a full superyacht experience.
The 37m ISA 120 Sport operates in the Balearic Islands during summer, was refitted in 2024 and accommodates up to 10 guests in five ensuite cabins with a crew of six.
For a couple chartering privately, that means an enormous amount of space and service.
Her amenities include a deck Jacuzzi, sun deck, sun pads, bar and stabilizers both underway and at anchor, making long afternoons onboard particularly comfortable.
She also carries two Jet Skis, two SeaBobs, kayaks, paddleboards, wakeboard and towable toys, so the charter can easily shift from quiet relaxation to a more active day on the water.
With a cruising speed of around 19 knots, YCM 120 is also well suited to combining Ibiza and Formentera without spending excessive time underway.
Why couples will love YCM 120: A Jacuzzi, excellent stability, professional crew and extensive water toys create the most complete luxury experience of the three.
L'HIPPOCAMPE
Best for: Couples who want elegant sailing and exceptional accommodation
L'HIPPOCAMPE offers the most romantic sailing experience in this ranking.
The 30.48m Nautor's Swan 100S operates in Spain and underwent an extensive refit in 2024. She accommodates eight guests across four cabins.
One feature makes her especially attractive for couples: she offers two luxurious, equally sized master staterooms.
That generous accommodation is complemented by a bright panoramic salon, sunbathing areas and a large swimming platform.
As a Swan performance cruiser, she is also designed to make the sailing itself part of the holiday rather than simply transporting guests between anchorages.
When the yacht stops, couples can use an eFoil, paddleboard, wakeboard, snorkeling gear, diving equipment or simply swim directly from the platform.
Why couples will love L'HIPPOCAMPE: Excellent master accommodation, refined Swan design and genuine sailing performance create a sophisticated and romantic Ibiza charter.
MOONSHOT
Best for: Fast, modern Ibiza island hopping
MOONSHOT is the strongest option for couples who want to move quickly between destinations.
The 24.64m Sanlorenzo SL78 operates throughout the Balearic Islands and accommodates eight guests across four cabins, including a master and VIP. She was built in 2018.
Her major advantage is speed.
MOONSHOT cruises at approximately 25 knots and reaches around 30 knots, making it easy to move between Ibiza's anchorages, Formentera and evenings ashore.
She also offers stabilizers both at anchor and underway, an important comfort feature for couples who want smooth cruising and relaxed nights onboard.
Entertainment includes Starlink, Bluetooth and outdoor sound systems, while water toys include two Fliteboards, wakeboard, paddleboard, snorkeling gear and an inflatable platform.
Why couples will love MOONSHOT: Fast cruising, stabilizers and modern onboard entertainment make her ideal for couples who want to see as much of Ibiza and Formentera as possible.
