A Formentera and Espalmador yacht charter explores the clearest and most naturally preserved waters of the Pityusic Islands. Why Formentera & Espalmador Is a Perfect Yacht Charter Area
Formentera offers one of the most rewarding extensions to an Ibiza yacht charter. The crossing is relatively short, yet the atmosphere changes immediately from busy harbours and beach clubs to open horizons, pale sand, low dunes and luminous water.
The northern coastline provides the region’s defining yacht experience. Ses Illetes occupies the western side of the Es Trucadors peninsula and is celebrated for its calm, turquoise water, while Llevant extends along the more exposed eastern side. Between and beyond them lie sandy shallows, rocky islets and protected marine habitats that are best appreciated from the water.
Espalmador adds a genuine sense of escape. The environmentally protected and uninhabited island lies beyond the tip of Es Trucadors, with Racó de s’Alga providing its best-known beach setting.
